SoftShow is a suite of tools designed to make computer demonstration and instruction more effective.  It is ideal for Software instructors, application developers or anyone who needs to show others how to use specific applications.  The tools are designed to run TOGETHER with the application that is being demonstrated, and all of them run from the taskbar on Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 computers.

  10. INSTALLING SOFTSHOW
  11. -------------------
  12. In addition to this Read-Me file, you should have a file called SOFTSHOW.EXE, which is a self-installing executable.  Run this program to install all of the SoftShow components into a directory of your choosing.  An uninstall feature will make removal of SoftShow easy if you should decide that you are not interested in purchasing the software.
  13. NOTE: SoftShow requires VB40032.DLL to run.  If you don't have this file in your Windows System directory (i.e. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM) then you will need to download this file before running SoftShow.  If you need help locating this file, visit us on the Internet at http://www.intrex.net/thunderware and click on the DOWNLOAD button.

  15. UNINSTALLING SOFTSHOW

If you should ever decide that SoftShow is not for you, you can easily uninstall the software by double-clicking the Uninstall icon in the SoftShow directory.  You may also open Control Panel, select ADD/REMOVE Programs and find SoftShow 2.0 in the list.  When you click Uninstall, all of the applications components will be systematically removed.

  22. Registering SoftShow is a short, painless process and involves performing the following easy steps:

  25. 1.  Reveal your product's unique Serial ID# by running the REGISTER.EXE program that will be installed when you install the SoftShow Suite.

  27. 2.  Contact us with your Serial ID so we can register that unique number to you or your company.  You can contact us in several ways:

  29. ╖    For fastest service, Visit us on the Internet at http://www.Intrex.Net/ThunderWare and provide us with your Serial ID and we will return your registration number by e-mail (or the method most convenient to you).

  31. ╖    You can also reach our automated voice mail system at (919) 870-7160.  When you reach our automated voice mail system, press (1) on your touch-tone phone to register your ThunderWare product.  Just leave your Serial ID# and your name and phone number at the tone, and we will return your registration number by phone.

  33. 3.  After you have received your registration number, type that back into the REGISTER.EXE program to automatically upgrade all of the components of the SoftShow Suite to their fully registered versions
